Terms of use

Effective November 3, 2026

These terms cover your use of KeyStone Cuts™. By making an account or using the studio, you agree to them. KeyStone Cuts is in beta: features change, and some things will break before they get better.

Your work stays yours

Your scripts, voice card and videos belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run the studio for you.

Photos, music and licenses

The studio finds openly licensed and public domain media and shows the license, the creator and the source page for each one. Licenses are set by the people and archives who publish the media, and they can be wrong or change. You make the final call on every file. Open the source page for anything marked "confirm license", keep the credits the studio gives you, and do not use anything whose license does not fit your use. Content ID claims on music are up to the rights holder, not us.

Facts and AI

The AI helps plan shots, pick photos, draft script starters and rewrite in your voice. It can be wrong. Script starter facts are quoted from their source so you can check them; check every fact with a second source before you publish. The studio never makes or alters images with AI.

Fair use of the studio

We can suspend accounts that break these rules.

Money

During the beta, AI costs are covered by the studio's own key and capped per run and per day. Paid plans, when they come, will show their price before you pay.

No guarantees

The studio is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, KeyStone Cuts is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages from using it, including claims about media you chose to publish.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using the studio after that means you accept the new terms.
